Terms of Use
Last revised: July 30, 2026
These are the mutual expectations that apply when you use credencetherapy.com. They are written as a numbered list because that is easier to check than a wall of prose, and they sit alongside the privacy page and the health disclaimer, both of which form part of them. Using the site means accepting all three. If any of it does not suit you, the remedy is simply to stop reading.
What we undertake
1. To publish general information about pelvic health physiotherapy, sourced from named guidelines, systematic reviews and professional bodies, and to have every article read and signed off by a registered physiotherapist before it appears. How that works is set out in the editorial policy.
2. To correct errors. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will check it and fix it. We will not quietly delete an article to make a mistake disappear.
3. To take nothing from anybody. No advertising, no sponsorship, no affiliate arrangements, no payment for a mention, and no commercial relationship with any clinic, practitioner, device or app. If that ever changes it will be disclosed on the page it affects.
4. To name no individual practitioners, in either direction. This site will not recommend a clinician and will not host a complaint about one.
5. To collect as little about you as it is possible for a website to collect, as described on the privacy page.
What we ask of you
6. Treat this as information, not treatment. Nothing here is clinical advice about you, and reading it or writing to us creates no professional relationship of any kind. Our reviewer is not your physiotherapist and owes you no duty of care. Decisions about your symptoms belong with a clinician who can examine you, and you agree not to delay or avoid seeking that assessment because of anything you have read here.
7. Do not name individual clinicians, practices or hospitals in the forum. This is the rule we enforce most strictly and it applies whether you intend praise or a complaint. A named clinician cannot reply, cannot correct the record, and may be identifiable from the surrounding detail even after a name is removed. Posts naming individuals are edited or deleted without notice. If you have a genuine complaint about your care, the route is the provider’s own complaints process or the relevant regulator on the registers page, not a public board.
8. Post within the forum’s limits. Between appointments is public, permanent and moderated. Nothing posted there may function as clinical assessment of another reader, give instruction in anything belonging in an examination room, including internal examination technique or dilator protocols, discuss medication of any kind, or include photographs or links to images. Keep clinical detail plain and factual. Moderators may edit, close or remove anything, and by posting you grant us a non exclusive right to display and retain your post on the site indefinitely, while your words remain yours.
9. Use the writing fairly. Unless stated otherwise, the text, structure and design here belong to Credence Therapy Notebook and are protected by copyright. Read it, link to it, and quote a short passage with a credit and a link. Do not republish articles in whole or substantial part, feed the site into a product, or present the material as your own. Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the site, scrape it in a way that burdens it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The limits
10. What we cannot promise. We work to keep this site accurate and current, but it is provided as it is, without warranty that it is complete, error free or applicable to your circumstances. Figures, costs and waiting times are ranges from named sources in named years, not predictions. External links are for reference and we are not responsible for the content of other websites. To the fullest extent the law allows, Credence Therapy Notebook is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site, its forum, or anything linked from it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
These terms may be revised as the site develops or the law changes, and the revised date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it. Questions go through the contact page.
